About the Chamber
Nepal– Poland Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NPCCI) has been established in 2018 with a view of maintaining the intimate relation with Poland industrialist and businessmen (business community) through the medium of bilateral relationship. it is very essential to maintain the harmonious trade, commercial, Recruitment and industrial relationship between Businessmen and industrialists. NPCCI assist to establish bilateral trade relationship between two countries in different possible areas.
NPCCI is playing a crucial role to boost up economy of the country, drive to promote signification or commercial exchanges and economic co-operation on mutual benefit based on between their members. Likewise, by establishing bilateral relationship between different chambers, federations and their member companies NPCCI is assisting its members to link with the Poland counterparts Maintaining reciprocal trade and business cooperation, market research missions and helps each other has been proved beneficial in exploring business and promoting mutual trade, commerce, economic cooperation, industrial collaboration, tourism promotion investments, joint venture activities. NPCCI had lead numerous business delegations and had participated many trade fairs and exhibitions. NPCCI also assists to exchange information regarding economic and commercial legislation, and arbitration practices to solve trade disputes.
Organization and Secretariat
The Supreme body of this organization is the General Assembly which is termed as "Annual General Meeting" (AGM). The another body under AGM is the Executive Committee which is constituted with the elected President, Immediate Past President, and 9 elected members and 3 nominated members (by the president) in every two years. A maximum of 2 members will be nominated from NPCCI Chapters. The office bearers are nominated by the President from among the elected and nominated members. This body is responsible for making major policy decision and for organizing programs and plans for the year. In order to make NPCCI activities and decisions swift, a Steering Committee of Office Bearers has been formed. There are several committees to address the problems and issues of member organizations, and to solve the impediments in Nepal Poland trade. The Director and his or her subordinates carry out the decisions and plans of the Executive Committee, Steering Committee and other committees.

Administrative and Physical Division :
Administratively, the country is divided into five development regions, i.e., Eastern, Central, Western, Midwestern and Far Western. The regions are further divided into 14 zones and 75 Districts.
Climate :
There are four climatic seasons in Nepal namely- spring, summer, autumn and winter. Spring and Autumn are the most pleasant seasons. The Terai is hot and humid in summer with temperature going up to 40o C. The mid-mountain regions are pleasant all round the year. The Northern Himalayan region has an alpine climate. In Kathmandu the maximum temperature in winter is normally 18° C to 20°C and in summer it goes to about 30°C- 32°C.

Situation and Area
POLAND ( POLSKA) lies in the very heart of the European continent.
From the North it borders upon Russia (216 km), from the East - upon Lithuania (99 km), Belarus (420 km) and Ukraine (509 km), from the South - upon Slovakia (540 km) and the Czech Republic (720) and from the West - upon Germany (467 km). The length of the sea frontier running along the Baltic Sea amounts to 528 km.
Poland belongs to medium size countries. Its area totaling 312.685 km sq. puts it on the 9th place in Europe and the 66th in the world.
Geographical configuration and climate
Poland is basically a lowland country with the average elevation of land amounting to some 170 meters above sea level. This by no way means that the landscape is monotonous. There are regions in Poland where one can find picturesque hills. Rysy, the highest peak of the mountains in the South of Poland rises 2,499 metros above sea level.
Poland has a temperate climate. Spring usually begins in April. Autumn falls in October and November. Winters are sometimes frosty. In the North-Eastern region temperatures drop below 20 degrees C. The average annual rainfall is about 600 mm.

In European terms, Poland is a country of average population density - 123 persons per square kilometre.
The country has 38, 600, 000 inhabitants placing it on the 7th position in Europe and 25th in the world.
Most people (62%) live in towns. The biggest of them are: Warsaw (1,656,000 inhabitants), Lodz (842,000), Cracow (751,000), Wroclaw (644,000), Poznan, Gdansk, Szczecin, Bydgoszcz, Katowice and Lublin.
